The Freedom Hub Cafe in Waterloo, Sydney, is an urban escape with chic French-industrial styling, comfortable lounges and various seating areas that immediately make you feel relaxed and at home.
Open Monday through Friday, we serve socially and ethically responsible yet delicious food and our own brand of Freedom Fighter Coffee. We’re your local café with great food and coffee—and that extra feel-good factor.
Our space is suited to a variety of occasions. We have a range of table sizes, from 10-seater share tables to intimate tables for 2, and a private room for small functions, meetings, development days, presentations, and work lunches (including AV support). It’s the perfect place to get together with friends, have a meeting, or run an event, whether you’re local or just passing through.
Are you looking for a venue with space for meal breaks? Why not book The Freedom Hub? We love hosting groups of up to 80 people on conferences or training days. Our venue is economically priced. We can provide food and drinks for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea, along with all the coffee and tea you need.

Enjoy Our Historic Venue
The Freedom Hub café is located in a beautifully restored warehouse that dates back to the early 20th century. It has the original floor of hand-smashed river pebbles and large steel beams in the ceiling, which used to hoist the heavy machinery of a 1900s automobile garage. The cafe is styled with modern industrial decor.
Hidden on a back street of Waterloo, this building is now home to a thriving, edgy community of city commuters; our venue is well worth visiting.
We are located close to the airport and hotels, within walking distance of Green Square station and buses from Central Station, which pass by a few meters away.
