Outcomes for people with lived experience of moder

Outcomes for people with lived experience of modern slavery must be considered in a way that is multi-level and holistic. The research results here were complied by interviewing survivors.

The outcomes needed for recovery are:
1. Secure and suitable housing
2. Safety from any trafficker or other abuser
3. Long-term, consistent support
4. Compassionate, trauma informed services
5. Finding purpose in life and self-actualisation
6. Access to medical treatment
7. Access to education.

The Freedom Hub Survivor School provides number 2,3,4,5 and 7 to all our survivors. We have partners who provide 1 and 6.

We believe long term support is the key and we ensure our programs, support and curriculum are created and reviewed by survivors with lived experience to ensure we meet their needs.
