Creating a World of Freedom by Ending Modern Slavery

Slavery happens within Australian borders. This is unacceptable. Therefore, the Freedom Hub exists to end slavery in Australia, help people who have experienced this crime recover, and partner in the fight to end global slavery.
Our Survivor School provides long-term wrap-around support to survivors. We do this by running free, personalised classes to assist them in recovering from complex trauma. We also offer courses to help them become ready to work. Our Peer Support Program provides activities, workshops, community building, and recreational sports.
We run our social enterprise businesses to help fund and administer these activities. Our cafe, event venue, and online retail not only raise funds but also become focal points for community involvement and awareness. As a result, the business covers most of our administrative costs, and our supporters’ donations go directly to helping survivors.
It might seem impossible to have a world of ‘freedom’. But we will work toward this vision, one step at a time. First, locally, then nationally, we will slowly influence the world through business, ethics, and social forums.
