Our Ethical Cafe, Catering, Retail, and Events is full of Highs and Lows
Let’s start with the The Freedom Hub Cafe highs!
The Freedom Hub cafe ‘Corporate Catering’ has grown so much over Q3 that we are now looking for funding to develop an online platform. Now that large companies must ensure they have assessed the risk of slavery in their supply chains, many have found it is best to select ours as we do our due diligence to check risk. We have partnered with a few catering companies to ensure we can offer everything from corporate lunches, to board meetings as well as high-end events with a gourmet feel. Check out our daytime lunch, morning & afternoon tea
menu here.
Events are back and most weekends we have at least one wedding or party. Most Saturday nights are full until 2023 and weddings are starting to book for 2024. Below are pics from a few of the stunning events held in Q3. Check out our
events page if you want to know more.

The Freedom Hub Cafe Outdoor Eating Area
With a bit of a break in the rain, we have finally managed to add a bit of greenery to our outdoor eating area. We hope spring comes soon so we can enjoy this more.
The Freedom Hub Cafe Catering Grows
As more and more people are returning to their offices in the city the demand for our ethically sourced catering grows. If your office or workplace is within 10kms of Waterloo we would love to offer our catering menu to you. Check it out HERE.
The New Freedom Hub Cafe menu to help locals budget
As our economy slows down and budgets get tight we have decided to have some lower-priced items in our cafe and still offer our high quality ethically sourced produce. How have we done that? By reducing our margins a lot. This does reduce the income we have to help survivors (because 100% of our profits go to our Survivor School) but if we can’t help our locals then where is our heart?
We now have $6 tacos on Tuesdays, a $6 toastie range still with our organic sourdoughs and on Fridays, we offer 50% off all our fresh wraps, sandwiches and salads.
The low point is the impact of, employees working from home and the downturn in our economy is impacting our regular cafe trading. if you are a local we would love your support through our reduced prices on our menus and choosing our charity cafe to get your coffee from.
In the meantime, thank you to everyone who has ordered our catering and booked an event with us.
